Boxing Day

The introvert 

supposedly not named for

shyness (which we know is

actually a penchant for the 

spaciousness of silence that blooms

thrills larger than words)

but categorized by energy. 

Why? Not enough people ask,

because those without an answer

haven’t wriggled their toes in mud

fertile enough for question. 

Being alone gives a break 

from figuring out who to be 

and/or who is disappointed

when choosing to be

spaciousness.
