Telling the Truth

When she speaks

her tongue is on fire

with either passion or

from the dishonesty 

of sharing only what

she thinks she should say,

yet what she must say

with her blazing tongue

will ignite the world in flames.

And from the golden blankets

of a world she spoke into,

she will see her truth

bending its fiery body 

to melt borders and difference.

And what remains after

is all that ever was and will be.
